Roman Belenkov has worked at Liniya Prava for more than 10 years, rising from associate to partner.

He has been involved in providing legal advice on the reorganization of RAO Unified Energy Systems of Russia.

Roman has experience advising major Russian companies (OJSC Alrosa, OAO AFK Sistema, OJSC Vnukovo Airport, OJSC VympelCom, OJSC Ilim Group, EVRAZ Group S.A., OJSC MOEK, OJSC Russian Railways, OJSC SUEK, OJSC PhosAgro and others) on matters of corporate law, securities, antitrust regulation and the implementation of projects related to companies' operations.

Roman Belenkov is the only lawyer from a Russian firm to be ranked in the second tier (Band 2) of recommended capital markets lawyers according to Chambers Europe 2011. He also has been recommended by Legal 500 and Best Lawyers as a highly qualified professional for IPOs and other securities law transactions.

He graduated with honours from the faculty of law of M. V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2000. He speaks English.
